Kambo in the Yawanawa tradition

Some ago i met 2 women Shamanas from the Yawanawa tribe who taught me more about kambo. In the Yawanawa tradition before taking kambo they do not drink water but a kind of soup made from cassava. They call it caicuma. They said that if people only drink water the healing of kambo only reaches the stomach. Caicuma helps kambo to reach though the body. One male Shaman from the Yawanawa tribe taught me how to make Caicuma so i have been using caicuma ever since then.

The best time to have kambo is when the sun is rising, around 7 or 8 AM. Then you need to drink minimum of 1.5 liters of caicuma "soup". Following your kambo sessions it is recommended to take a shower as soon as possible. After kambo to integrate the healing you need to follow a 3 day diet. It is as follows: no alcohol, no tobacco, no sex, no red meat, nothing that has sweet flavour (includes fruits and cooked tubers like sweet potatoes) and no strong sun on the head. And then you get the maximum healing.

There is also a specific kambo initiation in the Yawanawa tradition that i want to do but for that i would need to go to their tribe in Brazil and do a dieta. When i get money that is the first thing i'll do :)
